Whether you're a well-heeled traveler or a local who loves the finer things in life, Singapore delivers top-tier experiences that blend world-class entertainment, iconic attractions, and rich local culture — all with a luxurious twist.

Marina Bay Sands - The Ultimate Lifestyle Playground

No luxe experience in Singapore is complete without a day (and night) at Marina Bay Sands (MBS).

  • Watch a world-class musical or concert at Sands Theatre - touring Broadway shows and international acts perform here regularly.

  • Dine in style: Treat yourself to chilli crab at Jumbo Seafood or Michelin-recognised dumplings at Din Tai Fung. MBS is home to celebrity restaurants by the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Wolfgang Puck, and Tetsuya Wakuda.

  • Shop across the spectrum - from Sephora and Action City to Acne Studios, Adidas, and ultra-luxury brands like Louis Vuitton’s floating island boutique.

  • Artscience Museum, right next to MBS, offers a rotating calendar of exhibitions that blend art, science, and tech in immersive ways.

  • Gardens by the Bay is a short stroll away - a must-see, especially as the sun sets.

  • After dark: Start your evening with cocktails at Cé La Vi Skybar, dance at Marquee (Singapore’s biggest and glitziest club), or enjoy the more intimate Avenue bar. If you’re feeling lucky, head into the MBS Casino and try your hand at the tables or slots.

Gardens by the Bay - Nature Meets Fantasy

One of the most iconic sights in Singapore, Gardens by the Bay is more than just a park - it’s a stunning futuristic garden landscape with luxury touches.

  • Cloud Forest: Walk through misty mountain landscapes, cascading waterfalls, and rare plants in a temperature-controlled dome. The atmosphere is dreamy and refreshing, especially on a hot day.

  • Flower Dome: The largest glass greenhouse in the world, housing floral displays from across continents. Seasonal themes mean there’s always something new.

  • Supertree Grove: These towering vertical gardens light up spectacularly each evening in the Garden Rhapsody light and music show. Best viewed sitting on the grass or from a rooftop bar nearby.

Luxe Walkabout: Local Food with a Side of Culture

For a taste of Singapore’s authentic flavors, make your way to Maxwell Food Centre - a luxe-seeker’s entry into the soul of Singaporean cuisine.

  • Try the Michelin Bib Gourmand award-winning Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice, once endorsed by Gordon Ramsay and Anthony Bourdain. Expect a queue, but it moves fast.

  • My personal go-to here is Hoe Kee Congee - I’ve been coming back for at least 15 years. Their congee is perfectly creamy and comforting, and the claypot pig liver and deep-fried tofu are must-orders.

  • Insider tip: Visit in the evening for cooler temperatures and a more relaxed vibe.

After dinner, take a walk through the charming streets nearby:

  • Club Street, Amoy Street, or Tanjong Pagar Road are lined with chic bars, craft cocktail lounges, and cozy wine spots.

  • Find a seat, order your drink, and people-watch — a simple luxury that’s often underrated.

Explore Singapore's world-class cocktail bar culture

Singapore is home to one of the most exciting and sophisticated cocktail scenes in the world - and Neon Pigeon is my forever favourite. This edgy, Tokyo-inspired izakaya bar nails the vibe every single time: great music, a fun and beautiful crowd, and seriously impressive cocktails.

My friends and I have all unanimously declared - the best whisky sour we’ve ever had is from Neon Pigeon. The bartenders know their stuff, and if you're lucky, you’ll be served by Corbin (my good friend and part of what makes this place special). There’s often a warm welcome of complimentary sake as you settle in - and when the night’s energy peaks, it’s not uncommon for the team to start pouring sake straight into your mouth! It’s wild in the best way - high energy, never rowdy, and always good vibes.

While the drinks shine, I feel that the food here is more for snacking than a full meal. I highly recommend ordering the Tokyo Hummus with curry chips - super addictive and perfect with a cocktail in hand. (You’ll probably want to order extra chips - trust me.) I'd suggest dining elsewhere first, then coming to Neon Pigeon for a luxe after-dinner drink or two.

Insider tip: It’s in a fantastic location for bar-hopping. If you’re up for more, walk over to 28 HongKong Street (one of Singapore’s OG hidden bars) or swing by RVLT for a unique selection of natural and organic wines.
